my dear dear friend - my first response is, "why do you even have cake etc. in your house?" To this very day, nothing comes into our home that I cannot control myself with! No cakes, no cookies, no chocolate, no chips.....unless I have dealt with my control over this item. Peanut Butter used to be my biggest problem. We had no PB in the house for 2 years, now I have no problem with it at all, it is there in the cupboard, I eat it very seldom, as a treat. Next was chips, now we have chips in the cupboard all the time, but I do not eat them, these are Al's snacks, not mine. I do not crave them at all. The next was cheezies and so far we seldom have them in the house because this is a bad one for me yet, but it is getting better, I can feel it. I know I would leave them alone but if there were a stress I might eat some. Don't get me wrong, I do have my treats, source yogurt desserts, sugar free jello, oatbran choc.cookies - homemade, sugarfree pudding made with skim milk. Al is wonderful about making sure I have treats in the house that I can eat without blowing it. Remove the temptations, your hubby will support you, I know Glen well enough to know that.
You are on the right path......stay positive. Be thankful as though having already received that which you desire. Imagine the positive outcome! Imagine how happy and light and atheletic you are at your goal!! All your dreams come true.
