You don’t know how grateful I am that each day is a new slat. So I am going to make a very strong effort to make sure I don’t mess it up today. These are the statements I made this morning, to myself, as I begin my day in a “fast” path. Today will be a PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY; His Mercies are new every morning; clean slat; day one; Be Strong and of good courage; finish this day strong. Yeah right how many times have I said that to myself only to fall short mid day. So what is it that I can do to get the desired results and have that PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY? The number one think that is on my agenda for today is PREPARE! I have for the past month had a fast start to my day and the end to my day have is strong but in the middle I fall down. For today it begins with this clear, clean slat with yesterday gone and the struggles that were learning experiences only a memory. But should I think about what I did or is the over analyzing of my failures the problem? Why am a short changing myself by not learning from the day before? Why I am not going for the gold? Why I’m I not doing the best that I can for myself? I do the best for others. Am I not as important? And then I think about treasures in life, my marriage, my family, my health. So how did I get to be married for 35 years? I got this treasure because I wanted it. I desired it and there where times of fast start to the” day” and strong finishes with mid day disasters and struggles. And because I was in this marriage forever, I did the work. I had the resolve to get the desired results. So my resolve is to work at me healthy and thinner for as long as it takes. It is worth all the hard work because I get to spend time with those whom I love. Day One done on to day two! May yours be a PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY. I would love to hear your comments and ideas on your journey to a PURPOSE DRIVEN DAY.
