I pledge to start this day living with purpose, to look for the wisdom/positive in the gremlins that make their appearance in my day, to be present in the moments of my day.
A purpose driven day, to me, is a day that you set goals and get to the goal podium! What is that goal? To live the best day. I PLEDGE TODAY TO DO THE BEST I CAN. TO REMEMBER TO PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.

“Being present in the moments of my day” what a phenominal statement that truly is! I am ashamed to think that, as a single parent, I was seldom present in the moments in the days when my daughters were going up. I was so busy trying to keep the bills paid, food on the table, and be the daughter my parents wanted me to be, that I did not truly appreciate the wonders of the lives of those girls as they grew those first 6 years. Eventually things did settle down and I had the time and resources to just be a mom, still a working mom, but for 2 years I was at home and loved every minute with my girls. We played, we actually played.
On becoming a grandparent I have been present in my grandsons lives right up to the point were they think they are too old to hang out with me:) That’s okay, it’s all part of growning up:)
Now, I love to walk to work all the while watching the rush of nature as spring breaks the bonds of winter, I love to relax in the evening with Al, and enjoy the wonder that you have know for some 30 years and more of being with someone who truly gets you and who loves and values you for the person you are.
Thanks for waking me up today and challenging me to test my awareness:)
